Beautiful Threads Study #2 - Banksia

I always have some dried flowers scattered around the studio. In this case, I was fascinated by the forms and negative space between some un-opened banksia flowers splintering off the cone of a Firewood Banksia. Although they look like what we recognise as stamens, each one is actually a flower in its own right.
