THE USUAL
More often than not, these day I am printmaking.I’m a member of the Swan River Print StudioBut even when I’m printing - I’m usually drawing. I have never been able to escape the allure of drawing… so there is ultimately ‘drawing’ in everything I make. When I paint - I draw; when I print - I draw. Even when I look, or take a photo there is the eye and the hand behind it, of someone who is drawing. Line, texture and mark making are the language of drawing and these are the things I seek, notice, study, am enamoured by and eventually try to ‘recreate’.
